Indura Beach & Golf Resort to Host PGA Tour Latinoamerca's Third Annual Honduras Open
TELA, Honduras – Indura Beach & Golf Resort, the first five-star resort in Central America within Curio – a Collection by Hilton, will once again set the stage for one of the most anticipated golfing events in the region – the Honduras Open. The tournament is part of the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica and will be taking place from March 20 to 26, 2017. More than 140 golf professionals, novices and aficionados alike will travel to the pristine Tela Bay on the Northern coast of the country to witness the six-day event and experience the stunning natural setting and cultural diversity of the luxury resort and surrounding area.

This will be the third consecutive year Indura hosts the Honduras Open, welcoming top professional golfers such as the 2016 Honduras Open Champion Sam Fidone from the United States, as well as the 2015 Honduras Open Champion Felipe Velasquez. This year there will be 144 professional players participating from all over the world, representing 36 countries. The Honduras Open is part of the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica which includes eight tournaments spread throughout seven countries in the region.

Indura Beach & Golf Resort has one of the few PGA certified courses in Central America, and the first in Honduras, offering a natural enclave set within the Jeannette Kawas National Park. The participants will have the opportunity to play the challenging 18-hole golf course designed by Gary Player and managed by Troon.
