Win the G-MAC Masters Challenge by GAME GOLF

San Francisco, CA - GAME GOLF, the only company that puts the power of golf data onto every mobile and online device, launches the G-MAC MASTERS CHALLENGE in partnership with PGA Pro Graeme McDowell.

From April 4 to May 2, GAME GOLF users can join the G-MAC MASTERS CHALLENGE by posting their rounds to GAME GOLF. Golfers can post an unlimited number of rounds to the challenge; each round counts as a ticket to win. In a random drawing on May 2, four golfers will win on of the G-Mac by Kartel shirts, signed by McDowell and featured at the Masters.

New GAME GOLF LIVE

From April 1 to 15, golfers can purchase new GAME GOLF LIVE for $50 off the retail price. New GAME GOLF LIVE is the world’s only shot-tracking system for all smartphones (iOS/iPhone and Android) and coming soon to all smart watches (Apple and Pebble available now; Android Wear coming in May). It is the only wearable shot tracking system that is approved for tournament play by the USGA and R&A (when used without the App). McDowell was instrumental in the development of the system, and used it to assess the course with his caddy during a practice round at Augusta National on Tuesday, April 5.

Using GPS motion sensor tags and near-field communication technology attached to the tip of their grips, golfers pull a club from their bags, touch the tag to their GAME GOLF LIVE device (worn on a belt) or Android phone, and hit their shots. GAME GOLF LIVE captures robust data on each shot that is instantly visible via the GAME GOLF app, on any iOS (iPhone) or Android phone, on smart watches or on a computer.

Golfers are able to track true distances of every club, location of every shot, fairways hit, greens-in-regulation, putts per hole, the accuracy and distance of shots from the tee and on approach and more. The mapping system uses Google, Apple and BING Maps and includes a powerful course rangefinder. Editing data for accuracy and adding penalties is easy. All playing history and statistics are automatically backed up online. Golfers can analyze the data to find trends in their play and areas for improvement. Viewed on the web, Strokes Gained Analysis compares your information against the data of a scratch golfer and is the only system that gives TIPS to help you improve. Players are able to share their rounds with friends and family anywhere.

The platform has over 33,000 courses mapped, more than 750,000 rounds of golf uploaded from more than 125 countries, and has captured data on more than 60 million golf shots. GAME GOLF has partnerships with the PGA of America, Golf Channel, Golf Channel Academy and Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. GAME GOLF is endorsed by Golf Professionals Jim Furyk, Lee Westwood, Chesson Hadley, Sophie Walker and Maria Verchenova; and has been adopted by leading Coaches and Golf Instructors.

About G-MAC by Kartel

As an owner and creative collaborator in G-Mac by Kartel, the line was founded on the principles of superior craftsmanship, performance fabrics, bold colors and modern vintage look. The distinctive apparel has earned McDowell the reputation of being one of the most stylish players on tour.

For the Masters, McDowell has opted for bold colors and a classic polo style for his tournament wardrobe. He will wear the iconic Portrush polo, the founding shirt of the G-Mac line, for all four days of the tournament. The Portrush features a button-down collar, four-button placket and chest pocket. All of the G-Mac polos are designed with the golfer in mind, as each features two-way stretch, UV protection, breathability and quick dry.

For his trousers, McDowell chose the McTech performance pant in a variety of colors, ranging from fiery lava to traditional navy. The McTech trouser (which also comes in a short) is loaded with performance features including two-way stretch, UV protection, breathability and quick dry with a shirt-gripper waistband, mesh-lined pockets and a score card-gripper back pocket.

To finish off his looks, McDowell will wear the ECCO G-MAC World Class Special Edition Golf Shoe and Srixon/Cleveland Golf Tour Delta Cap. Visit the website for more information: www.gmacbykartel.com.
