Ollie Schniederjans Announces Professional Debut - Signs with Excel Sports Management

New York - Excel Sports Management is excited to announce Ollie Schniederjans has turned professional and is the newest addition to their elite stable of golf clients. Schniederjans will be represented by Jon Heaton, who will manage his tour responsibilities as well as all marketing and endorsement opportunities.

“Ollie was one of the most exciting amateurs to watch and we are so proud to be his agency as he embarks on a very promising professional career,” said Mark Steinberg, partner, Excel Sports.

"I am very excited to have Excel supporting me as I start my professional golf career,” said Schniederjans. “Excel has an extremely great reputation and track record. I am confident I have chosen the best individuals and group to assist me and my team in managing my golf and business endeavors."

Schniederjans made the cut in the 2015 U.S. Open and 2015 Open Championship, becoming only the third amateur since 1960 to make the cut in both major championships during the same calendar year.

A 2015 graduate of Georgia Tech where he claimed six individual NCAA tournament victories, Schniederjans is one of the game’s most exciting emerging talents. He was awarded the 2014 Mark H McCormack Medal as the number one ranked amateur in the world, was named a First Team All-American after his junior and senior seasons, and represented the United States in both the 2014 and 2015 Palmer Cups.

Schniederjans’ professional debut will be at the RBC Canadian Open on the PGA TOUR on July 23rd, and he will be competing in several other PGA TOUR events in the coming months.
