PGA Championship - Power Rankings

It doesn't get much more exciting than this, as we head into the final Major of the golf season. As you'd expect, the field is saturated with talent, which will undoubtedly make for an epic week ahead. This years event will be hosted at Bellerive Country Club in St.Louis Missouri, a historic club that is no stranger to professional golf events. The course is isn't known to be overly difficult, leading to players taking an aggressive approach in search of a slew of birdies.

There's a lot of great stories to follow this week, with several searching for their first ever Major championship while others, like Jordan Spieth is in search of the elusive Grand Slam title. Who will raise to the occasion? We'll find out soon enough, but in the meantime, here's a look at our top 10 list of players we'll be keeping an eye on...

Dustin Johnson - The world number 1 golfer needs no introduction. 15/16 in cuts made, 11 top 10 finishes, 3 victories, he's always a force to be reckoned with. Long off the tee and loves to play aggressively (which I saw first hand at the RBC Canadian Open).

Rickie Fowler - One of my personal favorite golfers, and arguably one of the most deserving of a Major championship. Having a solid season to date including 6 top 10s. He's consistent should be one to watch this week.

Justin Rose - Possibly the most consistent player on Tour at the moment. He's 18/18 in cuts made this season including 13 top 10 finishes and 3 victories. He withdrew from last weeks tournament with back issues, so here's hoping that he's healthy enough to bring his 'A' game.

Zach Johnson - Having a solid season, with 5 consecutive top 20 finishes in recent weeks including respectable performances at this seasons Major tournaments.

Tiger Woods - I've enjoyed following Tigers return to competitive golf and although it's been a bit of a roller-coaster ride, it's only a matter of time before he re-enters the winners circle. He knows what it takes to win and a Major championship would be exactly what he needs right now to re-fuel his comeback story.

Justin Thomas - On fire this season, coming hot off a victory last week. He's in great form, is 17/18 in cuts made this season which includes 7 top 10s and 3 victories.

Tommy Fleetwood - I've enjoyed following Fleetwood this season, and believe he's trending in the right direction. He plays in a lot of events, but it doesn't seem to slow him down. He's 23/15 in cuts made which have included 10 top 10 finishes.

Jordan Spieth - Playing well, but not great, you can never count out Spieth, especially in a Major championship. A win this week would solidify his career Grand Slam, which will undoubtedly be on his mind this week.

Francesco Molinari - He's never missed a cut at the PGA Championship and arrives this year in excellent form. 19/21 in cuts made this season including 7 top 10 finishes. He placed 2nd at this event last year.

Rory McIlroy - Always a contender, he's also a two-time winner of the PGA Championship. He's had a decent season, but not spectacular. A solid performance this week is exactly what he needs. 14/18 in cuts made this season including 8 top 10 finishes.

My draftkings lineups... With so many great players in the mix, there's no shortage of talent to pick from. I've tried to create two lineups focused on depth, and captained by my top picks. We'll see how they hold up.
